What to do After the UPTAC Seat Allotment Result?
After receiving the results for the UPTAC seat allotment process, students will be required to complete their formalities if they are happy with their allotted seat.
Firstly, students must pay the seat acceptance fees for the UPTAC counselling process. General Category and OBC students must pay INR 20000 as the seat acceptance fee while reserved categories will be required to pay INR 12000. If students do not pay their seat acceptance fee, they will lose their seat and not be allowed to participate in other rounds of counselling for UPTAC.
Secondly, students will have to choose whether they want to freeze or float their options. Students who freeze will not be required to participate in other rounds of counselling as they have fully locked and committed to their seat. Floating on the other hand, means students are satisfied with their seat but still wish to look into other colleges as well. Students who float their seats will be allowed to take part in other rounds of seat allotment.
