The Uttar Pradesh Bachelor of Education Joint Entrance Examination (UP BEd JEE) counselling is a structured process. It helps students who have passed the entrance exam get admission to various BEd courses in colleges across Uttar Pradesh. The main goal is to assign seats fairly to qualified students. This is done based on their rank in the entrance exam, the colleges they prefer, and the number of seats available in those colleges.
The counselling process typically involves several key steps. These include registering online, filling in your preferred college choices, receiving a seat offer (seat allotment), and finally, getting your documents checked. The overall counselling schedule for all phases this year began on July 30, 2025 , leading up to this final Pool Counselling round.

Understanding the Steps:
- Registration: This is the first step where eligible students sign up for Pool Counselling. You need to provide your details and pay the registration fee during these dates.
- Choice Filling: After registering, students must choose their preferred BEd colleges. It is important to fill in as many choices as possible to increase your chances of getting a seat. This window is open from September 7 to September 9, 2025 .
- Seat Allotment: On September 10, 2025 , the results of which college you have been allotted will be announced. This is based on your rank and the choices you filled.
- Download Allotment Letter: If you are allotted a seat, you must download your official allotment letter on September 11, 2025 . This letter is crucial for the next steps, including paying fees and document verification.
- Seat Matrix Update: This step, scheduled for September 12, 2025 , involves updating the list of remaining open seats. This usually happens after students confirm or reject their allotted seats.
Who Can Join Pool Counselling?
This round is for specific groups of students. You are eligible to participate if:
- You did not take part in counselling Round I or Round II.
- You participated in previous rounds but were not given any seat.
- You were given a seat in an earlier round but did not confirm it by paying the required fees or completing the process on time.
Fees to Pay for Pool Counselling
Students joining Pool Counselling must pay two main fees:
- UP BEd Counselling Registration Fee: This fee is ₹ 750 . Please note that this amount is non-refundable, meaning it will not be given back to you under any circumstances.
- Full Institute Fee: You will also need to pay the full college fee, which is ₹ 51,250 .
It is very important to understand that if you had paid any money in previous counselling rounds (for example, an advance fee of ₹ 5,000), that amount will not be adjusted or returned. You must pay all the above fees completely again for Pool Counselling. Make sure you have the full amount ready to secure your admission.
