The day 1 and shift 1 of the UGC NET June 2025 session have begun, according to NTA. For verification purposes, candidates must bring their UGC NET admit card 2025, which was issued for the June 25 exam on the official website,ugcnet.nta.ac.in, to the exam center. The purpose of the UGC NET June 2025 exam is to assess Indian citizens' eligibility for PhD admissions, assistant professor positions, and Junior Research Fellowships (JRFs) at Indian universities and colleges.
The UGC NET admit card has only been released by the NTA for the June 25 exams. Soon, the hall passes for the remaining examinations will be available on the official website. There will be two shifts in accordance with the exam schedule: shift 1 will run from 9 am to 12 pm, and shift 2 will run from 3 pm to 6 pm.
UGC NET exam date 2025
A computer-based examination (CBT) covering 85 subject papers will be used to administer the exam. The test will be divided into two sections, each of which will include multiple-choice, objective-type questions. There won't be a break in between papers, and candidates will have three hours to tackle the questions.

As per the exam pattern in the UGC NET June 2025 session, candidates will be given two marks for each correct response, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. Notably, no marks will not be awarded for unanswered or un-attempted questions.
