This will mark the final part of the Class 10 examination cycle for the academic year. Students who appeared in the Tamil Nadu 10th Supplementary Exams 2025, which were conducted between July 4 and July 10, will soon be able to determine their arrear result and view it on the official result portal — tnresults.nic.in.

TN SSLC Grading System 2025
The Tamil Nadu SSLC grading system uses different criteria for Language and Non-Language subjects:

Passing Criteria for TN SSLC 2025
- Minimum 35 marks out of 100 required in each subject
- For practical subjects:
- Theory: Minimum 20 out of 75
- Practical: Minimum 15 out of 25
- Marks in optional language subjects are not counted in the final pass criteria
TN SSLC Supplementary 2025 Migration Certificate
Students aiming to pursue higher education outside Tamil Nadu can apply for a Migration Certificate via the official website dge.tn.gov.in.
TN 12th Supplementary Result 2025 - Related Update
The Tamil Nadu HSE+2 supplementary result was declared earlier on July 25, 2025, at 3:30 PM. Re-evaluation options for the 12th result are now open with the following fees:
- Re-evaluation: ₹500
- Photocopy: ₹275
- Retotaling: ₹205
No Toppers List Again This Year
As part of its stress-reduction policy, DGE Tamil Nadu will not release a toppers’ list for SSLC 2025 supplementary results—continuing the practice followed since 2018.
