- 700 students from the general Backward Classes (BC) category.
- 500 students from the BC-C and BC-E sub-categories.
- 200 students from the Economically Backward Classes (EBC) category.

2. Ambedkar Overseas Education Scheme
This scheme supports students from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) . The number of SC students benefiting has increased from 210 to 500 . For ST students, a total of 200 will now receive financial assistance to study abroad.
