The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the results for the GD Constable Physical Test 2025. The results for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) were released on October 13, 2025 . Candidates who passed these physical tests have now been chosen for the next stage: the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV).
A total of 3,94,121 candidates were called to take the physical test. Out of these, 2,59,359 candidates actually appeared for the test. From those who appeared, 1,26,736 candidates successfully qualified the SSC GD PET/PST 2025. These qualified candidates have moved to the medical test round based on their scores in the main computer-based exam (CBE) and the cut-off marks set by the Commission.
The SSC has also released the state-wise cut-off marks for both male and female candidates. These cut-off marks show the minimum scores needed to qualify for the medical test after the physical rounds. Separate merit lists, which are lists of selected candidates, have also been published for male and female candidates.
Understanding the Physical Test and Cut-Off Marks
The PET/PST round checks a candidate's physical fitness and measurements. Candidates must meet certain standards for height, chest, and running to pass. The cut-off marks are the lowest scores a candidate needed in their computer-based exam to be selected for the medical test, keeping in mind their performance in the physical tests. These marks can vary based on category (like EWS, OBC, UR) and the force they applied for (like NCB or SSF).
