The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) in Faridkot has started registration for Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 3 . This counselling is for students who want to get admission to postgraduate (PG) medical courses in Punjab. The registration process began today, January 3, 2026 .
All eligible candidates must visit the official BFUHS website, bfuhs.ggsmch.org , to register. The last day to register and make all payments is January 5, 2026 , by 5:00 PM. Missing this deadline means you cannot participate in Round 3 counselling.

Who Can Apply for Round 3?
Different types of candidates can join Round 3 counselling:
- New Candidates: If you have not registered for Punjab NEET PG Counselling before, you must complete a fresh online registration. You will pay the registration fee and security deposit.
- Already Registered Candidates (No Seat Allotted): If you registered in earlier rounds (Round 1 or Round 2) but did not get any seat, you do not need to register again. You must, however, submit your "willingness" to participate in Round 3. This tells BFUHS you are still interested in a seat.
- Candidates Who Did Not Join Round 2 Seats: If you were given a seat in Round 2 but did not join it, you can apply again for Round 3. You will need to complete a fresh registration, pay the fees, and submit a new security deposit. You must also submit your willingness.
Registration Fees and Security Deposit
Candidates must pay certain fees to take part in Round 3 counselling. All payments, including registration fee and security deposit, must be made through the university's online payment portal by January 5, 2026 .
Registration Fee
- For General category candidates: Rs. 5900 (Includes 18% GST).
- For SC category candidates: Rs. 2950 (Includes 18% GST).
Security Deposit
This refundable deposit confirms your serious interest in a medical college seat. It is needed when you submit your willingness for Round 3.
- For seats in Government colleges :
- General category candidates: Rs. 25000
- SC/BC/PwD candidates: Rs. 10000
- For seats in Private colleges :
- All candidates: Rs. 200000
If you registered in Round 2 and did not get any seat, you do not need to pay the security deposit again. But you must still submit your willingness for Round 3.
Next Steps After Registration
After registration closes, BFUHS will continue with the counselling process:
- Provisional Merit List: On January 7, 2026 , a temporary list of all eligible candidates will be published. This list shows your rank based on your NEET PG score. Check this list for any errors.
- Choice Filling and Locking: From January 8 to January 9, 2026 , eligible candidates can choose their preferred colleges and medical courses. After choosing, you must "lock" your selections. This confirms your final preferences and stops any changes. Fill and lock your choices carefully, as this decides your seat allotment.
