The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is set to release the NIOS Date Sheet 2025 for Class 10 (Secondary) and Class 12 (Senior Secondary) theory examinations for the October–November session soon at nios.ac.in. Students will be able to download the subject-wise timetable in PDF format once released.
Meanwhile, the practical exam timetable has already been announced. As per the official notice, the NIOS Class 10 and 12 practical exams 2025 are being conducted from September 12 to 27, 2025 across regional centers.
How to Download NIOS Date Sheet 2025?
Students can download the timetable PDF once it is out by following these steps:
- Visit the official website – nios.ac.in
- Click on the “Notification” section
- Select “Date Sheet for Secondary (Class X)/ Sr. Secondary (Class XII) Examinations, October 2025”
- The timetable PDF will appear on screen
- Download and save it for future reference.
Latest Updates on NIOS Date Sheet 2025
- Hall Tickets: The NIOS admit card 2025 for Classes 10 and 12 theory exams will be available soon at sdmis.nios.ac.in.
- Expected Release Date: Last year, the timetable was announced in the last week of September. This year, it is expected slightly earlier.
- Exam Window: NIOS October 2025 exams are expected to be held between October and November 2025.
- Exam Pattern (Class 12): Most subjects will be for 100 marks (3 hours). However, Chemistry, Geography, History, and Mass Communication will carry 80 marks.
- Exam Pattern (Class 10): Final exams are usually 3 hours. For Home Science, the duration will be 2.5 hours. Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA) carry 20% weightage.
