The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the NEET UG 2025 result on its website – neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET UG) can now check their individual scores and download their result cum scorecard using their application number and date of birth.

NEET UG is the single national-level entrance exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical courses across India. Over 20 lakh candidates appeared for the exam this year, making it one of the most competitive exams in the country.

Steps to Check NEET UG 2025 Result

To check your NEET UG result, follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website: neet.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the “NEET UG 2025 Result” link on the homepage.
  • Enter your application number, date of birth, and security PIN.
  • The scorecard will appear on the screen.
  • Download and print a copy for future use during counselling.

The NEET UG 2025 scorecard includes details such as candidate’s roll number, subject-wise marks, total marks, percentile score, All India Rank (AIR), and qualifying status.

NEET UG 2025 Cut-Off Marks

Along with the results, NTA has also released the cut-off percentile and corresponding scores for different categories:

  • General Category: 50th percentile
  • SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile
  • General-PwD: 45th percentile

The actual cutoff marks differ every year depending on factors such as exam difficulty, the number of test-takers, and seat availability.

What Next After NEET UG Result?

Now that the results are out, qualified candidates must prepare for the counselling process, which will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and by respective state authorities for 85% state quota seats.

The counselling rounds will include online registration, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, document verification, and reporting to the allotted college. Candidates should keep their NEET UG scorecard, admit card, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, category certificates (if applicable), and passport-sized photographs ready.

NEET UG 2025 Merit List

The NTA will also share the All India Rank list with the MCC and other counselling bodies. This rank will determine the seat allotment in MBBS, BDS, and other medical courses across India, including in AIIMS and JIPMER.
