How to Fill Choices Online
Candidates must complete their choice filling online. Follow these steps:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to the official DME Madhya Pradesh website: dme.mponline.gov.in .
- Log In: Find the login section. Enter your NEET PG roll number and password.
- Check Seat Matrix: After logging in, carefully look at the 'seat matrix'. This list shows all available seats in different government and private colleges. It also shows which courses are offered in each college.
- Select Colleges and Courses: Choose the colleges and courses you want. Arrange them in order of your preference. Put your most desired college and course at the top.
- Save Your Choices: After selecting, save your choices.
- Lock Your Choices: This is a very important step. Once you are sure about your selections, you must 'lock' them. After locking, you cannot change your choices. Make sure to do this before the deadline.
What is Choice Filling and Locking?
Choice filling means listing the medical colleges and courses where you want to study. You rank them from your most preferred to least preferred. For example, if you want to study MD in General Medicine at AIIMS Bhopal first, and then MD in General Medicine at GMC Indore second, you will list them in that order.
Choice locking means finalising your list. Once locked, the system takes your choices as final. You cannot make any changes. It is like submitting your final answer sheet. Therefore, candidates must check their choices multiple times before locking.
Understanding the Seat Matrix
The seat matrix is a table that shows all the available seats. It helps you see:
- Which colleges have seats.
- How many seats are available in each course (like MD Dermatology, MS Orthopaedics).
- If the seats are in government or private colleges.
- Any special categories for seats.
Reviewing the seat matrix carefully helps candidates make informed decisions about their preferences.
What Happens After Choice Locking?
After all candidates lock their choices by November 11, 2025 , the DME will process the applications. Based on your NEET PG score, your chosen preferences, and the availability of seats, the department will allot a seat to you. The results for the MP NEET PG Round 1 Seat Allotment will be announced on November 13, 2025 .
Candidates should regularly check the official website for updates regarding the seat allotment results and further admission steps.
