The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam city intimation slips in the first week of January 2026 . Students who applied for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) will be able to check which city their exam centre will be in. This slip also tells students their exact exam date for Session 1.

The JEE Main Session 1 exams for 2026 are scheduled to take place from January 21 to January 30 .   • After logging in, your JEE Main city intimation slip will appear on your screen.
  • You should download this slip and save it to your device. It is also good to take a printout for your records.

Important Update: Photo Verification Certificate Deadline

The last date to upload this Photo Verification Certificate is January 7, 2026 . Students must upload this document on the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in .

Steps to Upload the Photo Verification Certificate

Follow these steps carefully to ensure your certificate is submitted correctly:

  • Visit the official JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in .
  • Log in using your application number and password .
  • Once logged in, you will find a link to download the Photo Verification Certificate. Download it.
  • After downloading, you need to fill in the required details on the certificate.
  • Paste a recent passport-size photograph onto the certificate.
  • Get the certificate signed by your School or College Principal/Headmaster. This signature confirms your identity.
  • Scan the signed and filled certificate. Make sure it is clear and easy to read.
  • Upload the scanned certificate in PDF format on the website before the deadline.
