Important Instructions for Students
Students who receive a seat in the INI CET Round 2 allotment must follow specific steps. Missing these steps can lead to losing the seat or facing penalties.
- Accepting the Allotted Seat: If a student is happy with the seat given in Round 2, they must accept it. The window to accept these seats is from January 10, 2026 (11 AM) to January 15, 2026 (5 PM) . Students need to log in to the official portal to complete this step.
- College Reporting and Document Check: After accepting the seat online, students must visit the college they have been allotted. They need to report to the college and complete all document verification by January 15, 2026 (5 PM) . It is important to carry all original documents as required.
- Upgraded Seats from Round 1: If a student had a seat from Round 1 and gets an upgraded (better) seat in Round 2, their previous seat from Round 1 is automatically taken back. Students cannot refuse an upgraded seat. This means they must take the new, upgraded seat.
- Penalty for Not Joining: If a student does not join the seat allotted to them in Round 2, or does not join an upgraded seat, they will face serious consequences. They will lose their seat. Also, they will have to pay a penalty of INR 3,00,000 (Three Lakh Rupees). This rule is very strict to ensure serious candidates take their seats.
