IMT Ghaziabad Honors Over 850 Graduates at Convocation 2025

IMT Ghaziabad held its Annual Convocation Ceremony 2025 today, conferring diplomas on over 850 students. The event took place at the institute’s Ghaziabad campus, celebrating the achievements of the graduating Class of 2025.

Graduates from Diverse Programs Honored

The institute awarded PGDM diplomas to its Class of 2025 across several program streams. These included full-time, marketing, financial management, and banking and financial services (BFS). Graduates from Executive Programs (ExP) and those for working executives also received diplomas. Students from the Fellow Programme in Management were also honored.

Chief Guest Emphasizes Persistence and Innovation

Mohit Burman, Chairman of Dabur India Limited, served as Chief Guest. He addressed the graduating cohort, calling the ceremony “a launchpad.” Burman encouraged students to leverage their ideas, energy, and courage to challenge norms. He stressed the importance of persistence, stating, “The world doesn’t reward perfection, it rewards persistence. You are not just the next generation, you are the now generation.”

Burman also highlighted the transformative impact of technology. He cited Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, and other emerging technologies as key drivers of future industries. He commended IMT Ghaziabad for equipping students with the mindset and skills needed to thrive in this “dynamic era.”

Director Discusses AI Integration and Scholarships

Atish Chattopadhyay, Director of IMT Ghaziabad, spoke about the institute’s efforts in technology integration. He emphasized collaboration, stating, “The future will not be about what AI can do alone, but what we can do together.” Chattopadhyay detailed how IMT Ghaziabad integrates AI into its teaching-learning processes. This initiative aims to keep faculty and students ahead in a transforming business landscape.

Chattopadhyay also underscored the institute’s commitment to gender equity. IMT Ghaziabad offers a 25% scholarship to every female student, making it the only top B-school in India with such a policy. The institute also provides financial support to students demonstrating need.

He advised graduates on modern leadership, noting, “leadership today is not only about achievements, it is also about responsibility.” Chattopadhyay proudly mentioned IMT Ghaziabad’s partnership with the United Nations. The institute actively contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals through this collaboration.

Alumni Recognized for Professional Excellence

IMT Ghaziabad presented awards to accomplished alumni during the ceremony. These awards recognized significant professional achievements and contributions.

Charu Kaushal, Class of 1996, received the Distinguished Alumnus Award. Kaushal is the Managing Director of Allianz Partners India. She was honored for her exemplary leadership.

Ashish Kapoor, Class of 2015, earned the Young Alumnus Achiever Award. Kapoor serves as Head of Growth & Strategy at Mahindra Teqo. He was recognized for his innovation and resilience in his career.
