IIM Bangalore achieved a 100% placement record during Final Placements 2025, where all 595 students of PGP and PGP-BA batches got placed into prominent companies with impressive salary packages. These batches are the largest batch in the institute’s history, with 595 students. The remarkable achievements by these students who participated in the placement process secured positions across 176 prominent companies of various sectors.
In the various job roles, Management Consulting was the most preferred option for students where 32 firms made 245 placement offers. Several also took jobs in Investment Banking, IT and Product Management during IIM Bangalore Placements 2025. A great diversity brought up students this time in placements, giving good opportunities for everyone. Moreover, the institute’s active industry collaborations and goodwill paved the way for suitable placement for the whole batch.
Key Highlights from IIM Bangalore Final Placements 2025
- The top sector according to job offers is Management Consulting with 41% of offers.
- Most of the top consulting firms recruited students, giving graduates a preferred option.
- Lateral placements for students with prior work experience of over 18 months saw over 100 job offers.
- Such lateral placements enabled seasoned professionals to find positions appropriate to their skills.
- A total of 30% of companies hiring from IIM Bangalore were first-time recruiters, which speaks volumes of the industry appeal of the institute.

Professor Nishant Kumar Verma, the head of Career Development Services at IIM Bangalore, stated, even with a challenging job market globally, the institute delivered a hassle-free placement process. The sheer number of job offers and the range of roles across industries also hit a record in 2025, he added.
He further said, that IIM Bangalore has a firm industry tie-up, which paved the way for students to get some excellent exposure. New companies and long-time recruiters made the placement process successful for all of their parties.
