The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has made important changes to the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET). These changes will start from June 2026 . Students planning to take the CSEET exam need to know about the new exam pattern, how the exam will be held, and the updated fees. The exam will now be held offline at special centres, not online from home. It will also happen three times a year instead of four.
Starting June 2026 , the CSEET exam will move from an online, remote mode to an offline mode . This means students must go to an assigned exam centre to take the test. The last exam in the old remote online mode will be in January 2026 . From June 2026 onwards, the exam will be conducted in February, June, and October each year. Earlier, the exam was held in January, May, July, and November.
Key Changes in CSEET Exam
- The exam will now be held in offline mode at exam centres.
- The CSEET will take place three times a year: February, June, and October .
- Each subject will have its own exam on a different day.
- Each subject will carry 100 marks .
- The exam will run from 2:30 PM to 5:45 PM .
New Exam Fees
ICSI has also changed the fees for CSEET. The new fees are:
- CSEET Registration Fee: INR 7,500
- CSEET Enrollment Fee: INR 1,500 per session
Once a student registers for CSEET, their registration will be valid for three years .
Revised Exam Pattern Details
The CSEET exam will now have different subjects tested on separate days. Here is the new breakdown:
