Students planning to become teachers in Haryana schools should note that the registration for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026 is closing soon. The last day to apply online for the exam is January 4, 2026 . This exam is important for those who wish to work as Primary Teachers (PRT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), or Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in the state.

The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) conducts the HTET exam. After January 4, 2026 , no new applications will be accepted.

Application Fees for HTET 2026

  • For Level II , the fee is INR 900 .
  • For Level III , the fee is INR 1,200 .

Please note that the last date to pay the application fee is January 5, 2026 , one day after the application submission deadline.

How to Apply Online for HTET 2026

Applying for the HTET 2026 exam is a simple online process. Follow these steps carefully to submit your application:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to either bseh.org.in or htet.eapplynow.com . Both are official websites for the application.
  2. Find the Apply Link: On the homepage of the website, look for a link that says "Apply Online for HTET". Click on this link to start your application.
  3. Start New Application: A new page will open. Here, you will find another link to "apply online". Click on it.
  4. Register Your Details: You need to register first. Provide your basic information like your full name, your father’s name, your date of birth, your mobile number, and your email ID. Make sure all details are correct.
  5. Receive Application ID: After successful registration, you will receive an HTET application ID. Keep this ID safe for future use.
  6. Fill Application Form: Now, fill in the rest of your details in the application form. This includes your address, details about your Haryana domicile (if applicable), your category (General, SC, OBC, PwD, etc.), and your bank account information.
  7. Select HTET Level and Upload Images: Choose which HTET level (Level I, Level II, or Level III) you are applying for. You will also need to upload your photo and signature as per the instructions given on the website.
