Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
To apply for GIM’s management programs, candidates must meet specific requirements:
- Education: You need a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in total. If you belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, you need a minimum of 45% marks.
- Final Year Students: Students who are in their final year of graduation can also apply. They must complete all their degree requirements by June 2026 . These students must also have a minimum of 50% marks in their latest examinations.
- Entrance Exams: You must have valid scores from one of the following national-level entrance exams:
- CAT 2025
- XAT 2026
- GMAT (taken between January 1, 2024, and January 15, 2026 )
Special Requirements for Certain Programs
Some programs have additional requirements:
International Double Degree in Analytics (IDA)
If you are applying for the IDA program, you must:
- Submit a Statement of Purpose (SoP) . This is a written essay explaining why you want to join the program.
- Take at least one of the following English language proficiency tests and achieve the minimum score set by GIM:

- IELTS
- Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE)
- Cambridge English Advanced (CAE)
- Cambridge English Business (BEC)
PGDM (BDA) and IDA Programs
Candidates applying for both PGDM in Big Data Analytics (BDA) and the International Double Degree in Analytics (IDA) programs need to take an extra test:
- You must appear for the GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) . This test will be held on February 1, 2026 .
