Delhi University has officially started its registrations for the Vice Chancellor’s Summer Internship Scheme (VCIS) 2025, Eligible students are asked to apply by April 30, as this annual internship program is designed to help students gain valuable experience across different departments.

Eligibility and Duration

The internship is open to regular undergraduate and postgraduate students at Delhi University. However, students in their final year/semester, or those who have previously participated in VCIS (Summer or Part-Time), are not eligible.  Interns are asked to dedicate 20 hours per week, balancing learning and contribution.  This is mainly to ensure that almost every student interested can get an equal chance in this internship. The internship duration is two months from June 2025 to July 2025.

Stipend and Certification

Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹11,025, along with a certificate of completion from the Dean of Students’ Welfare. The certificate will be helpful in adding value to their resume and also highlights their efforts and contributions to the internship program.

How to Apply?

Interested candidates have two options, either submit their applications online through the official DU website du.ac.in or do it via the Dean of Students’ Welfare portal at dsw.du.ac.in.

Students should have a Letter of Recommendation (LoR) from the Principal or Head of Department is mandatory for the internship.

The LoR must be on official letterhead, signed and stamped, and dated on or after April 15, 2025. Applicants will be asked to show the LoR during the interview round.

Selection Process

Candidates will go through an interview or group discussion, where their interest, way of communication, and motivation will be noted. In 2023, the program received over 7,000 applications, out of which only 100 were selected. this highlights the demand and interest of students in the internship.

The VCIS 2025 is an opportunity to build connections within the university and also to build professional skills in a real-world setting.

Interested students are encouraged to apply early and make the most of this enriching experience.

The college must have been improved itself for the sake of the currently studying and upcoming students.

Placement: The placements here are not as much good. The placement officers aren’t much promising and the students aren’t themselves sure about their placements.

Faculty: The faculty seems to be quite average and isn’t much promising as a student should expect. They could have been much better and should still try to improve themselves.

Admission: Based on School / 12th Class Result
