Chandigarh University is delighted to announce that its undergraduate engineering programs have been re-accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) under Tier-I for the academic years 2024-25 to 2026-27. This notable achievement highlights the University’s commitment to excellence in engineering education and its ongoing pursuit to maintain high academic standards.
Chandigarh University Re-Accreditation:
The NBA Expert Team conducted a thorough evaluation on April 20, 2024 which resulted in the re-accreditation being granted. The programs that have received this prestigious re-accreditation are:

- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Computer Science & amp; Engineering
This re-accreditations reflects the dedication, hard-work and excellence of Chandigarh University’s faculty, staff and students. It additionally underscores the university’s commitment to provide top-quality education and fostering a culture of innovation and progress.

Previously, Chandigarh University was the first private varsity in Punjab to land the NBA Accreditation for all its engineering and MBA programs. Thus, it became the youngest university in India and first private university in Punjab, to be ranked among top 5% across the nation after been awarded the A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), and has become the youngest university of Asia to feature in the QS-ranking in 2021, that too in its very first attempt.
The NBA Accreditation ensures that the respective courses meet rigorous quality standards, offering top-quality knowledge, skills, and attitudes. This accreditation gives students a competitive advantage in the job market, as employers place more importance on degrees from accredited programs. They believe that graduates have been educated at an institution that upholds robust quality measures aligned with industry standards.
