Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) has shared important news for students seeking admission to the BEd course through Bihar BEd CET 2025. The university has updated the list of colleges where students can get admission. The counselling process for these admissions has already begun.
Two new colleges, **AN College in Patna** and **MDDM College in Muzaffarpur**, have now been approved for the upcoming Academic Session 2025-27. This approval follows an order from the Patna High Court. Because of this, LNMU has announced a special counselling and admission schedule for students interested in these two colleges, as well as for those who are yet to secure a seat.

How Document Verification Works at Colleges
When you go to your allotted college for admission, here is how the document verification process will happen:
- The college staff will log in to their official portal using their unique User ID and Password.
- They will search for your details using your Application ID Number or other personal information.
- After checking all your original documents and confirming they are correct, the college will generate your **Admission Receipt**. This receipt confirms your admission.
Steps for the Last Counselling and Admission Round
This is the final chance for admission, and the process is carefully planned. Here are the steps and rules for this round:
- The entire admission process for this round is managed centrally by the **Office of the State Nodal Officer (SNO)**. This means all important decisions and coordination happen from one central office, making it fair and organized. This is officially called the **Last Counselling and Admission Round**.
- You must go to the college that has been allotted to you for **document verification** and to receive your **admission slip**. All checks will be done directly at the college.
- Before choosing a college, you can **check how many seats are available** in different colleges or departments. This helps you make an informed choice.
- To take part in this round, you must have **passed the CET BEd 2025 exam** and must have **registered for counselling** earlier.
- It is compulsory to **choose colleges online** to be considered for admission in this round. If you do not select any college, you will not be part of this admission round.
- You can **choose only one college** online through the official portal. You will need your login details to do this. Importantly, if you are a minority candidate, you are not forced to choose a minority college; you can choose any college.
- Students who were already allotted a college in earlier rounds but did not take admission are also **eligible to participate** in this final round of counselling. This gives them another opportunity.
- The college allotment will be done based on your **exam merit (your score)**, the reservation rules (roster, if applicable), the colleges you preferred, and the announced schedule.
- You can check which college has been allotted to you by **logging into the portal** with your user ID and password.
- You must report to your **allotted college** as per the schedule for your **document verification and final admission**. Make sure you arrive on the specified dates.
- You will need to pay the college/department fee. This fee can be paid either through a **Demand Draft (DD)** or using an **online payment method**, as decided by the college.
Students are advised to regularly check the official website for any further updates or notices regarding the Bihar BEd CET 2025 counselling and admission process.
