This means that candidates only need to secure the minimum passing marks for their category. There is no rank list created based on these scores that leads directly to a job.

Exam Structure and Scoring

  • The exam has a total of 150 marks for each paper.
  • All questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) . This means for each question, you choose one correct answer from the given options.
  • There is no negative marking in the AP TET exam. This is good news for students, as marks will not be cut for wrong answers.
  • Candidates get one mark for every correct answer.

Number of Attempts

There is no limit to how many times a candidate can take the AP TET exam. If you do not get the desired score or pass in your first attempt, you can try again in future exams. This rule allows candidates to improve their scores and qualify.
