The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIM Udaipur) has released the final admissions results for its flagship MBA program's 2025-27 batch. Candidates who took part in the Common Admission Process (CAP) can now check their selection status through the official CAP portal at admissions.iimu.ac.in.
This announcement is now a major turning point for hundreds of MBA aspirants nationwide. Coordinated this year by IIM Bodh Gaya, the CAP 2025 process included several newer-generation IIMs like IIM Trichy, IIM Ranchi, IIM Kashipur, and IIM Udaipur, among others. The shortlisting of the candidates was done based on their CAT 2024 scores, Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds were done right after it.
For the general category, the cutoff percentile in CAT 2024 was around 95. Meanwhile, the cutoffs were relatively lower for reserved categories—81 percentile for NC-OBC and EWS, 66 for SC, and 42 for ST and PwD candidates.
The final selection was based on a composite score that took into account a candidate’s CAT score, academic record, work experience, PI performance, and profile diversity. Offer letters have been sent via email, and acceptance of the offer should be done by the selected candidates before the deadline to secure their spot. Waitlisted candidates are encouraged to monitor further notifications, as there may be movement in the coming weeks.
IIM Udaipur plans to increase its reputation with a focus on academic rigor, industry exposure, and global partnerships. It is already one of the fastest-growing management institutes in the country, which plans to enroll 375 students this year.
