At IIDE, you will shape content that influences thousands of learners every day.As the Video & Social Media Lead at IIDE, you will drive the end-to-end production of digital content with the goal of increasing organic engagement and strengthening brand presence. Reporting to the Brand Manager, you will lead a team of editors, social media associates, and interns while collaborating with cross-functional departments. You will oversee video strategy, content planning, post-production quality, and the overall creative direction of social media channels.
Key responsibilities:
A. Video Strategy & Production
1. Develop content concepts, storyboards, and creative directions aligned with campaign goals.
2. Manage and direct video shoots, ensuring smooth on-ground execution and adherence to technical requirements.
3. Oversee production planning, scripting, and creative alignment.
B. Post-Production Oversight
1. Review video edits and guide improvements.
2. Oversee motion graphics, colour correction, sound design, and brand consistency.
3. Ensure efficient workflows across Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related tools.
C. Social Media Strategy & Execution
1. Build content pillars, themes, and messaging to drive continuous audience growth.
2. Strategise for increased reach, engagement, and platform performance.
D. Content Calendar Management
1. Plan, schedule, and manage social media posts across all channels.
2. Coordinate campaign rollouts, content sequencing, and daily publishing.
D. Cross-Team Collaboration
1. Work closely with Paid Ads, Events, Design, and Academic teams to ensure creative alignment.
2. Deliver content that supports brand, marketing, and campaign objectives.
E. People & Team Management
1. Lead and mentor editors, social media associates, and interns.
2. Conduct regular check-ins, track progress, and resolve executional roadblocks.
F. Tools, Systems & Asset Management
1. Maintain an organised library of video files, project assets, and content archives.
2. Oversee usage of editing software, social schedulers, Google Workspace, and AI-powered tools.
G. Hiring & Onboarding
1. Recruit, evaluate, and onboard creative team members, including editors and social media associates.
