About the Job
We’re looking for a creative video editor who understands storytelling, pacing, and audience retention. Most of the work involves editing long-form and short-form talking videos with an educational, motivational, and lifestyle angle. The goal is simple: make every video engaging, clean, and never boring.Key responsibilities:
1. Edit long-form YouTube videos and short-form reels from talking-head footage
2. Keep the screen engaging with format changes every few seconds
3. Use b-rolls, split screens, picture-in-picture, text highlights, and motion elements smartly
4. Create visually strong edits using AI-generated images when storytelling requires it
5. Add clean subtitles, sound effects, and music that enhance emotion
6. Maintain smooth pacing and logical story flow throughout the video
7. Follow creative briefs closely while also suggesting better visual ideas
8. Deliver edits within timelines without compromising quality
9. Revise edits based on feedback and improve with each iteration
