About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Teach baby, toddler, child, and adult swim classes using structured lesson plans
2. Incorporate songs, games, and playful teaching techniques to create a positive and engaging learning environment
3. Ensure each child feels comfortable and safe in the water
4. Maintain accurate attendance records for all classes
5. Arrive 30 minutes before class to set up equipment
6. Distribute stickers and candy to students after class as part of our positive reinforcement approach
7. Collect and count all toys immediately after class and log the count to prevent loss
8. Ensure pool equipment and toys are cleaned, stored, and maintained properly
9. Print and bring lesson plans to each class to ensure structured and effective teaching
10. Answer basic parent questions and guide them to email or WhatsApp for further assistance
11. Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor with families and students
12. Follow all pool safety protocols and ensure a safe learning environment
13. Report any issues, concerns, or incidents to the hotel promptly
14. Represent Water Town at community events, including festivals and school water safety programs
15. Promote water safety awareness in the community
