About the Job
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on supply chain executive to manage procurement, vendor coordination, logistics, customs clearance, and inventory-related activities. The role requires strong local market knowledge, vendor negotiation skills, and coordination across departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute local procurement of materials as requested by various departments
2. Travel locally within Chennai to support procurement and inter-departmental requirements
3. Manage end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, negotiation, performance monitoring, and relationship management
4. Handle customs clearance processes and ensure timely receipt of imported goods
5. Monitor and coordinate logistics to ensure smooth movement of materials
6. Resolve supply chain issues such as delivery delays, shortages, or logistical challenges
7. Maintain and document vouchers, bills, and procurement-related records
8. Support international sourcing activities and coordination
9. Identify, develop, and onboard new domestic and international vendors
10. Apply effective sourcing strategies and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
11. Assist the supply chain team with day-to-day operational and strategic tasks
