About the Job
Key responsibilities:A. Accounting & bookkeeping:
1. Conduct a detailed verification of the monthly sales report and validate all supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
2. Verify all purchase invoices for accuracy and completeness before recording in the accounting system.
3. Scrutinize petty cash reimbursement vouchers to ensure proper documentation and policy adherence.
4. Prepare purchase orders and track vendor bills and payments.
5. Maintain accurate ledgers and ensure timely entries.

B. Financial reporting:
1. Prepare monthly MIS reports for management review.
2. Reconcile accounts and assist in financial statement preparation.
3. Support budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
4. Taxation & compliance: Prepare and file TDS returns and service tax returns.
5. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and deadlines.
6. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during tax audits.
C. Audit support:
1. Provide documentation and clarifications during audit processes.
2. Maintain organized records for audit readiness.
D. Vendor & payment management:
1. Monitor vendor accounts and ensure timely payments.
2. Maintain documentation for purchase orders, invoices, and payment schedules.
