About the Job
Job Title: Graphic Designer (Team & Client Manager)We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer with 1–2+ years of corporate design experience to educate, lead, mentor, and manage our junior designers and interns.
This is not a pure design-creation role; your primary responsibilities will be quality control, team coordination, and client communication across platforms such as Interact, WhatsApp groups, and email.
However, whenever required, you must be able to step in and create high-quality designs to maintain delivery standards, especially when junior designers are unable to achieve the expected output.
You will also work with AI-assisted design workflows, so openness to adopting AI tools is essential (though NOT as a replacement for Adobe-level skills).
Key responsibilities:
A. Team & Project Management
1. Step in to create original designs during high-priority or complex tasks.
2. Supervise, mentor, and guide junior designers and interns.
3. Review, refine, and approve design outputs to ensure high quality.
4. Assign tasks, track progress, and maintain delivery timelines.
B. Client Communication
1. Manage daily client interactions via Interact, WhatsApp groups, phone calls, and email.
2. Translate client briefs into clear design tasks for the team.
3. Provide progress updates, revisions, and ensure smooth client servicing.
4. Handle feedback loops and maintain client satisfaction.
C. Design & Technical Skills
1. Create high-quality designs when needed across various formats (branding, social media, print, packaging, etc.).
2. Use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and CorelDRAW proficiently.
3. Zero dependency on Canva or drag-and-drop design tools.
4. Comfortable using AI-assisted design tools (Midjourney, Firefly, etc.) to speed up workflows.
D. Process & Quality Ownership
1. Ensure brand consistency across all deliverables.
2. Maintain organized file structures, templates, and reusable assets.
3. Coordinate with different departments for project requirements.
4. Uphold deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
