We are building an AI-powered platform where parents can personalize beautifully illustrated children’s storybooks- including the child’s face, name, and contextual story edits. Think “DALL·E + Disney-style books + Shopify checkout” in one seamless experience. We’re an early-stage, founder-led startup with big ambition and a strong vision. We’re looking for someone who is a true hustler- hungry to build something real, excited to create massive impact, and ready to get their hands dirty to bring a category-defining product to life. The full-stack engineer will be responsible for building the entire web platform end-to-end- from the frontend to backend to the AI face-personalization pipeline.This includes:
1. Building a smooth UX for selecting books and personalizing them
2. Integrating image-generation models (Stable Diffusion, Instant-ID)
3. Creating a fast rendering pipeline for swapping illustrated faces
4. Building checkout, PDF generation, storage, authentication
5. Deploying the platform to production
6. Working directly with the founder and will shape the entire product

Key Responsibilities:
A. Full-stack development:
1. Build frontend using Next.js + Tailwind
2. Build backend with Node.js or FastAPI
3. Implement personalization editor (Konva.js or Fabric.js)
4. Handle Firebase Auth, Firestore DB, Storage
5. Implement Stripe payments
6. Build order & PDF generation pipeline
B. AI + image personalization:
1. Integrate Stable Diffusion/Instant-ID/ControlNet
2. Build face detection + style transformation pipeline
3. Insert personalized face into pre-illustrated templates
4. Optimize GPU inference (Replicate / AWS/cloud GPUs)
C. Deployment:
1. Deploy frontend on Vercel
2. Deploy backend + AI service on AWS/Replicate
D. Collaboration:
1. Work with founder for weekly feature iterations
2. Work with illustrator for template integration
3. Write clean, maintainable code
