Role Overview
We are looking for an Associate Software Development Engineer (ASDE) to join our Custom Automation Team. In this role, you’ll develop and maintain automation modules, backend services, and integrations that power custom solutions for our clients. You’ll collaborate with project managers, solution architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
● Design and develop custom automation workflows and backend APIs using Node.js, Express, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
● Take ownership of assigned client projects from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance
● Integrate third-party APIs (CRMs, ERPs, e-commerce platforms) and internal services to create end-to-end automation pipelines
● Work with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, SQS) for application deployment and scaling
● Debug and optimize automation scripts for performance and reliability.
● Proactively identify potential issues, bottlenecks, or improvements in existing workflows and propose solutions
● Collaborate with the product and delivery teams to understand client automation requirements and translate them into technical solutions
● Communicate project status, blockers, and technical decisions clearly and regularly to stakeholders
● Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation for delivered solutions
● Maintain comprehensive documentation for integrations, APIs, and custom solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
● 1–2 years of hands-on experience in backend development or automation projects.
● Strong programming experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Express.js.
● Working knowledge of AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, SQS).
● Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with asynchronous operations.
● Familiarity with Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
● Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
● Strong code quality practices: writing clean, maintainable, well-documented code following industry standards

● Knowledge of Docker or other container tools.
