About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilising a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
2. Follow the prescribed behavioural skill acquisition and behaviour reduction protocols.
3. Collect, record, and summarise data on observable client behaviour.
4. Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with the client’s individualised treatment and behaviour reduction protocols.
5. Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress
6. Utilise safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
7. Maintain client confidentiality.
8. Assist Lead Behavioural Technician, Behaviour Analysts, and Pediatric Neurologists in preparing client materials as instructed.
9. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work and therapy environment
10. Collaborate with the treatment team, including the client, parents, caregivers and outside professionals
11. Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required training.
