About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Design and develop mechanical components and sub-assemblies from concept through detailed design and release.
2. Perform engineering calculations and design validation related to loads, forces, torque, stiffness, and fasteners.
3. Create and maintain manufacturing-ready CAD models, drawings, and BOMs following DFMA principles.
4. Collaborate directly with fabrication and machining vendors to address manufacturability, tolerance, and quality issues.
5. Support prototype build, assembly, and testing activities, and implement design improvements based on findings.
6. Participate in design reviews, revision control, and documentation management throughout the design lifecycle.
7. Drive continuous improvement of designs with focus on reliability, cost optimization, and ease of assembly.
