Job Overview
We are seeking a results-oriented Area Sales Manager with hands-on experience in healthcare product sales, particularly IV fluids. The role involves managing sales operations within an assigned territory, driving revenue growth, leading a field sales team, and building strong relationships with hospitals and channel partners.
Key responsibilities:
1. Drive sales of IV fluids and related healthcare products within the assigned territory
2. Plan and execute territory-wise sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
3. Manage, guide, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives or Territory Executives
4. Identify new business opportunities in hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospital administrators, purchase teams, distributors, and stockists
6. Conduct regular field visits to track market trends and team performance
7. Ensure timely payment collections and resolve distributor or customer-related issues
8. Track competitor activities and share market insights with senior management
9. Ensure adherence to company pricing, promotional plans, and policies
10. Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity records
