About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Design & Development: Create original, trend-driven kids' wear designs, including sketches, mood boards, and technical specifications.
2. Trend Research: Stay updated on the latest kids' fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and embellishments.
3. Fabric & Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials, ensuring quality, safety, and comfort for children.
4. Technical Design: Develop detailed tech packs with garment specifications for production.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with merchandisers, pattern makers, and manufacturers to ensure designs are executed flawlessly.
6. Sampling & Fittings: Oversee sample development, conduct fittings, and make necessary design adjustments.
7. Sustainability Focus: Implement sustainable and ethical fashion practices in the design process.
8. Market Analysis: Analyze competitor products and consumer preferences to ensure our designs remain competitive.
