About the Job
We are seeking a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) to join our team as a Financial Literacy Educator. In this role, you will conduct in-class sessions for students in colleges and schools, teaching key concepts in financial literacy. Additionally, you will have opportunities to handle client debt management services outside of class hours, providing personalized advice and strategies to help clients manage and reduce their debts effectively. This position offers a blend of educational impact and client-facing advisory work, with potential for extra income based on debt management engagements.Key responsibilities:
1. Design and deliver interactive financial literacy sessions tailored to students in schools and colleges, covering topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, credit management, and debt avoidance.
2. Develop engaging curriculum materials, including presentations, worksheets, and real-world case studies, to make financial concepts relatable and practical.
3. Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to improve program effectiveness.
4. Collaborate with school/college administrators to schedule and coordinate sessions.
5. Handle client debt management consultations after class hours, including assessing financial situations, creating debt repayment plans, negotiating with creditors (where applicable), and offering ongoing support.
6. Maintain accurate records of sessions, student progress, and client interactions.
7. Stay updated on financial regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure high-quality education and advice.
8. Contribute to the startup's growth by identifying opportunities for program expansion or additional services.
