The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth for the company. This role requires strategic planning, market research, and exceptional communication skills to expand the company’s market presence and achieve business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
A. Market Research & Strategy
1. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and target audiences.
2. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales goals.
3. Analyze competitors and industry trends to support informed decision-making.
B. Client Acquisition
1. Identify potential clients and key decision-makers through networking, referrals, and online research.
2. Initiate contact with prospective clients via cold calls, emails, and meetings.
3. Create and present business Proposals, and negotiate contracts to secure deals.
C. Relationship Management
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and identify upselling opportunities.
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries and concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
D. Reporting & Performance Analysis
1. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales targets, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
2. Provide regular updates and performance reports to senior management regarding business development activities and outcomes.
