About the Job
The admissions counselor plays a pivotal role in guiding students through the entire admission process. The position requires a mix of empathy, strong communication, and sales acumen to convert leads into successful admissions. The counsellor acts as the first point of contact for prospective students and parents, ensuring a professional and informative experience.Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage with prospective students through walk ins calls and online inquiries
2. Conduct in depth counseling sessions explaining program details eligibility and fee structure
3. Follow up regularly with leads via phone email and WhatsApp until conversion
4. Maintain accurate and updated records in CRM tools or Excel trackers
5. Support the admissions office in organizing events webinars and campus visits
6. Coordinate with marketing teams for lead nurturing and event participation
7. Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets as per institutional goals
8. Ensure high-quality engagement and build strong rapport with students and parents
