About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Financial transactions management: Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by analyzing account data. Document financial transactions, including invoicing, credit management, accounts clearing, and collections.
2. Financial reporting: Prepare and analyze balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Summarize financial status to provide insights for decision-making.
3. Financial security & compliance: Ensure regular database backups and adherence to internal controls for financial data protection.
4. Taxation & compliance: Manage and document monthly tax filings (e.g., GST) in line with regulations. Ensure timely completion of tax obligations.
5. Payment processing: Verify payment documentation and request disbursements. Ensure proper approvals and accuracy before processing payments.
6. Accounting support: Research and interpret accounting policies and regulations to address procedure inquiries.
7. Legal compliance: Stay updated with national, state, and local financial legal requirements. Advise management on actions needed to comply with financial regulations.
8. Financial analysis & recommendations: Collect, analyze, and summarize financial data to prepare special reports. Recommend financial actions based on analysis of accounting options.
9. Account reconciliation: Reconcile discrepancies in financial records by identifying and resolving issues.
10. Confidentiality & security: Maintain confidentiality of financial data and protect the company’s financial information.
11. Team contribution: Collaborate with the team to meet company objectives and contribute to achieving key results.
