About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:A. Website management & updates:
1. Assist in building and updating pages on WordPress using page builders (Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, etc.).
2. Upload, format, and optimize content (text, images, and videos) across website pages and blogs.
3. Ensure website layout, design, and functionality remain consistent across devices (desktop, mobile, and tablet).
B. Website optimization:
1. Optimize website speed and performance (image compression, caching, database clean-up, etc.).
2. Check and improve on-page SEO (meta titles, descriptions, headings, alt tags, and internal linking).
3. Monitor broken links, redirects, and website errors.
4. Ensure websites are secure and updated with the latest WordPress, theme, and plugin versions.
C. SEO & analytics support:
1. Conduct basic keyword research to support content and page optimization.
2. Use SEO tools (Google Search Console, Yoast/Rank Math, SEMrush, etc.) to track and improve rankings.
3. Generate performance reports (traffic, bounce rate, and page speed) using Google Analytics and other tools.
D. Collaboration & documentation:
1. Work closely with the design and content team to implement changes and improvements.
2. Document updates, tasks, and optimization processes for future reference.
3. Suggest new features, plugins, or strategies to improve user experience and performance.
5. Learning & growth:
1. Stay updated with the latest WordPress updates, plugins, and optimization techniques.
2. Participate in weekly reviews to share progress, challenges, and learnings.
