SDS by Kushal Shah is a men’s luxury brand specializing in Pret, Couture, and Bespoke. We focus on refined design aesthetics, craftsmanship, and service, creating a seamless balance between luxury and contemporary style. Rooted in an edgy yet timeless design philosophy, our collections reflect an evolving yet consistent creative vision. Our parent company, Sheetal, has been a pioneer in Indian fashion retail for over 50 years. Industry icons such as Hemant Trivedi, Manish Malhotra, and Aki Narula began their creative journeys at SDS before launching their own labels.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Content planning & platform management:
1. Assist in planning, developing, and executing monthly content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
2. Ensure content mix aligns with brand objectives including product stories, styling tips, founder features, and campaign rollouts.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to align content with marketing, retail, and PR campaigns.
4. Manage posting schedules and ensure consistency in brand tone, format, and posting frequency.
5. Optimize timing and hashtags for maximum reach and engagement.

B. Visual conceptualization & design support:
1. Assist in creating mood boards, concept decks, and creative directions for photo and video shoots.
2. Work closely with the creative team to ideate layouts for campaigns, stories, and carousel posts.
3. Support the design and editing of digital collaterals, lookbooks, invites, posters, and in-store creatives.
4. Contribute ideas for visual campaigns that strengthen the brand’s luxury identity.

C. Photoshoot & video shoot coordination:
1. Support on-site during campaigns and product shoots like helping with logistics, coordination, and on-set styling assistance.
2. Capture and edit behind-the-scenes (BTS) content, reels, and snippets for social media use.
3. Maintain a structured library of digital assets (photographs, videos, and design files) for internal reference.

D. Content creation, editing & publishing:
1. Assist in designing and editing photo and video assets using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
2. Help create visually consistent layouts and templates for brand storytelling.
3. Write engaging captions and assist in basic copy for posts and short-form videos.
4. Schedule and publish posts through platform tools or scheduling applications.

E. Brand identity & visual consistency:
1. Ensure all digital assets reflect brand guidelines including tone, typography, color palette, and design language.
2. Support offline communication design for packaging, labels, invites, and event collaterals.
3. Collaborate with the design team to uphold a cohesive brand image across every touchpoint.

F. Social media engagement & growth:
1. Monitor engagement on posts, comments, shares, DMs, and tags- ensuring timely, brand-aligned responses.
2. Identify opportunities for engagement with influencers, stylists, and customers.
3. Maintain digital relationships through proactive community building and influencer outreach.
4. Assist in implementing strategies to enhance follower growth and content performance.

G. Analytics & reporting:
1. Track engagement metrics such as reach, impressions, follower growth, and post-performance.
2. Assist in preparing monthly performance reports using Meta Insights, Pinterest Analytics, YouTube Studio, and Google Analytics.
3. Use insights to recommend improvements for future campaigns and creative direction.

H. Trend research & innovation:
1. Stay updated with the latest trends in fashion, luxury branding, digital aesthetics, and visual communication.
2. Research new Instagram Reels formats, trending audios, visual filters, and campaign styles relevant to luxury fashion.
3. Identify competitor trends and contribute ideas for unique storytelling opportunities.
4. Proactively recommend new tools, formats, and visual storytelling approaches to keep the brand culturally relevant.

I. Collaboration & cross-functional coordination:
1. Work closely with the marketing, PR, and design teams to ensure unified brand communication.
2. Liaise with external partners, photographers, stylists, editors, and vendors for execution support.
3. Coordinate with retail and e-commerce teams for timely access to new collections, product imagery, and styling inputs.
