About the Internship
We are looking for a video editing intern who can help transform raw footage into high-quality, engaging content for YouTube and social media platforms. This is a part-time, remote internship ideal for someone passionate about digital content and storytelling.Your main tasks will include editing 1–2 long-form videos per week (YouTube videos, vlogs, or documentary-style content) and creating 6–8 short-form videos (Reels, Shorts) from existing footage. You’ll work closely with the content creator to maintain a consistent editing style and deliver polished content tailored for the right platforms.
This role is perfect for students, beginners, or freelancers who want to build real-world experience and grow their portfolio working in a fast-moving content environment.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Edit 1–2 long-form videos per week (YouTube vlogs, informational/documentary-style content).
2. Create 6–8 short-form videos per week (Reels/YouTube Shorts) using long-form footage.
3. Add subtitles, transitions, music, B-roll, and visual effects as needed.
4. Format videos according to platform specifications (9:16 for Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube).
5. Collaborate on video structure and creative direction based on content goals.
6. Ensure timely delivery of edits and responsiveness to feedback.
7. Maintain consistent visual style and quality across all content.
8. Be available for brief weekend catch-up meetings (remote, 15–30 mins) to align on tasks and feedback.
9. Stay updated on editing trends, hooks, and formats that perform well on YouTube and Instagram.
