About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Recruitment: Sourcing new freelance linguist candidates via online communities, job ads, and screening processes.
2. Testing: Coordinating linguistic assessments for qualified candidates.
3. Rate Negotiation: Handling initial rate discussions with successful candidates and tracking their onboarding progress.
4. Vendor Placement: Assigning the best-qualified vendors for projects within budget and timelines.
5. Cost Research: Conducting research on linguistic vendor costs when required, ensuring competitive and appropriate rates for specific projects.
6. Issue Resolution: Managing vendor-related concerns and issues.
7. Database Management: Maintaining vendor information (availability, expertise, test results, negotiation history).
8. Performance Monitoring: Tracking and recording vendor performance across various projects.
9. Additional duties as required.
