About the Internship
Are you passionate about crafting intuitive, elegant, and high-performance digital experiences? Join SkillsCapital, one of the fastest-growing AI-powered platforms for global tech hiring, as a UI/UX design intern. In this role, you’ll help shape and refine the user experience for our core platform, including our AI-powered talent cloud, vetting engine, consultant portal, and client dashboard. You'll collaborate closely with our founding product and engineering teams to bring clarity, simplicity, and beauty to complex enterprise workflows. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on real product screens for real users, driving meaningful outcomes. In our first year, we’ve achieved strong product-market fit with global clients, delivered talent across the U.S., U.K., Europe, and the Middle East, built a fully functional platform with paying clients, scaled profitably without external funding, and are on track to surpass a $ 2 M+ run rate. We’ve successfully grown from 0 → 1 and 1 → 10, and now we’re designing for 10 → 100. Our leadership team comprises alumni from Wharton, IIT Delhi, BITS Pilani, IIIT Hyderabad, and London Business School, with experience at top firms like IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, PwC, Trilogy, and ESW Capital.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to design key user journeys
2. Design intuitive UI layouts for consultant profiles, dashboards, workflow automation, and vetting tools
3. Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes
4. Turn complex workflows into simple, user-friendly interactions
5. Work with developer-ready design systems using tools like Figma
6. Contribute ideas and design thinking to shape the product roadmap
7. Iterate quickly based on real user feedback and business goals
