About the Internship
As a 'UAV Perception Intern' at Unmanned Autonomy, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in robotics, computer vision, deep learning, embedded systems, robot operating system (ROS), and real-time operating systems (RTOS).Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
1. Developing and implementing algorithms for autonomous navigation and obstacle avoidance.
2. Conducting research and experiments to improve UAV perception and decision-making capabilities.
3. Collaborating with the engineering team to integrate perception systems into UAV platforms.
4. Testing and validating perception algorithms in simulated and real-world environments.
5. Optimizing algorithms for real-time performance on embedded systems.
6. Contributing to the design and development of next-generation UAV perception systems.
7. Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field of autonomous systems and sharing knowledge with the team.
