About the Internship
About Talkster:Talkster is a mobile app that helps people in India speak confident, practical English they can use every day — whether at work, at home, or in social situations. We offer short, engaging lessons in learners’ native languages — including Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil — alongside English.
Our mission is to make English learning accessible, culturally relevant, and effective for millions across India. We’re a passionate, creative team dedicated to building an app that truly works for Indian learners.
As a Telugu Content Champion, you will:
1. Translate English learning material into Telugu using our internal tools.
2. Review translations to ensure accuracy in grammar, fluency, and cultural context.
3. Test lessons and app features before and after release to maintain a smooth learning experience.
4. Suggest enhancements to improve both content and the product.
5. Engage with potential users to gather insights and encourage app adoption.
What Will Give You an Edge:
1. Experience teaching English to Indian learners.
2. Prior work with edtech products or language learning platforms.
3. Understanding of how Indian learners approach English as a second language.
