About the Internship

Roles and Responsibilities of a Talent Acquisition Intern
1. Recruitment Support
Assist the Talent Acquisition team in sourcing and shortlisting candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, and internal databases.
Coordinate with candidates for interviews, assessments, and feedback follow-ups.
Maintain and update candidate information in the recruitment tracking system (ATS or spreadsheets).
2. Job Posting & Branding
Create and post job openings on various platforms including job boards, college portals, and social media channels.
Support in developing employer branding materials such as recruitment posts, internship campaigns, and career fair content.
3. Screening & Coordination
Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate fit and interest.
Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers or panels.
Assist in managing candidate communications and ensuring a smooth recruitment experience.
4. Database Management
Maintain and organize candidate pipelines for different roles.
Ensure accurate documentation of resumes, interview feedback, and offer details.
5. Campus Hiring & Events
Support campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and virtual placement events.
Coordinate with college placement officers for scheduling and candidate engagement.
6. Reporting & Analytics
Prepare daily or weekly recruitment reports, dashboards, and candidate status trackers.
Assist in analyzing hiring metrics (e.g., number of applicants, conversions, source effectiveness).
7. Onboarding Assistance
Support pre-onboarding formalities like document collection and offer letter issuance.
Coordinate with HR operations for smooth joining and induction of new hires.
8. Learning & Collaboration
Work closely with senior recruiters to learn sourcing strategies, behavioral interviewing, and employer branding.
Participate in internal HR meetings, brainstorming sessions, and recruitment process improvements.
