About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Vendor negotiation & relationship management: Ability to negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and warranties while maintaining long-term, reliable supplier relationships, as it directly impacts cost savings and supply continuity.
2. Analytical & cost control skills: Strong understanding of pricing analysis, cost comparison, budgeting, and total cost of ownership (TCO). The candidate should be able to evaluate multiple quotations and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
3. Process knowledge & compliance awareness: Familiarity with procurement processes such as PO creation, GRN, invoice matching, and adherence to company policies, contracts, and statutory requirements (GST, documentation and audits).
