About the Internship
As a Software Engineering Intern at Venwiz, you'll work directly with our engineering team on developing and enhancing solutions at the intersection of procurement and artificial intelligence. This hands-on role offers valuable experience with real-world business problems while providing mentorship and growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and maintain software applications
- Assist in building and improving features for our procurement platform
- Contribute to backend development using Python or Node.js
- Work with MongoDB databases to store and retrieve data efficiently
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Help troubleshoot and resolve software issues
- Document code and development processes
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Experience with either Python or Node.js programming
- Basic knowledge of MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with some web development frameworks (Django, Flask, Express.js, etc.)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Interest in AI/ML technologies
