About the Internship
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Social Media Account Manager to join our team at Emergent. This role focuses on managing and optimizing our short-form content across key social media platforms including TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram. The ideal candidate will combine creative social media expertise with strong analytical skills to drive engagement and track performance metrics.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Content Management & Publishing
1. Upload and schedule social media content across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram platforms
2. Ensure content is published at optimal times to maximize reach and engagement
3. Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms
4. Coordinate with content creation teams to ensure timely delivery of assets
B. Analytics & Reporting
1. Maintain daily Excel spreadsheets to track content performance metrics
2. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including views, engagement rates, shares, and follower growth
3. Generate weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights
C. Platform Optimization
1. Stay updated with algorithm changes and best practices across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram
2. Optimize posting schedules based on audience engagement patterns and platform analytics
3. Research and implement trending hashtags, sounds, and content formats
4. A/B test different posting times and content approaches
D. Data Management
1. Create and maintain comprehensive tracking systems for all published content
2. Accurate data entry and regular backup of performance metrics
3. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media KPIs with business objectives
4. Provide data-driven recommendations for content strategy improvements
