About the Internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Design and oversee end-to-end SEO strategies tailored to each client’s goals and market.
2. Own technical SEO, on-page SEO, content strategy, and link-building frameworks across accounts.
3. Ensure all SEO initiatives align with current best practices and are future-proof against algorithm shifts.
4. Audit and quality-check junior SEO work before execution to maintain performance standards.
5. Diagnose and resolve ranking drops, indexing issues, crawl errors, and performance bottlenecks.
6. Build and execute optimisation strategies for AI-driven search environments, including Google SGE / AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other LLM-based platforms.
7. Implement entity-based SEO and topical authority models to strengthen semantic relevance.
8. Define and deploy schema strategies that improve AI interpretation and content attribution.
9. Design AI-assisted content workflows with mandatory human review and editorial control.
10. Ensure content is optimised to be referenced, cited, and surfaced by AI systems—not just traditionally ranked.
11. Lead local, regional, and multi-location SEO strategies across client portfolios.
12. Optimise Google Business Profiles and strengthen local entity signals.
13. Build scalable geo-landing page frameworks for local, national, and international growth.
14. Support SEO expansion into new geographic markets with localisation best practices.
15. Ensure consistency across NAP data, reviews, citations, and local relevance signals.
16. Participate in client consultations when required, particularly for high-ticket prospects, complex technical SEO cases, and AI Search strategy discussions.
17. Clearly communicate SEO timelines, risks, limitations, and realistic expectations.
18. Defend strategic decisions during performance fluctuations using data-backed reasoning.
19. Align SEO initiatives with broader business objectives, revenue goals, and growth targets.
20. Mentor, guide, and manage junior SEO specialists to improve skill depth and output quality.
21. Create SEO SOPs, checklists, and QA frameworks to standardise delivery.
22. Design scalable SEO execution processes as client volume and complexity increase.
23. Collaborate closely with Client Success teams to support retention, expansion, and upsell opportunities.
24. Oversee monthly SEO performance reporting across all assigned accounts.
25. Track rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and measurable business impact.
26. Analyse performance movements to identify what changed, why it changed, and next action steps.
27. Present insights and recommendations in a clear, non-technical manner for stakeholders and decision-makers.
